Tianjin Tuanbo New Bridge Project is an important part of Tianjin Tuanbo Express and a link between the central city and Tuanbo New City. Across the river with a width of 1 kilometer, the total length of the bridge is 1,296 meters. Tuanbo New Bridge adopts the unique “color needle type” single tower cable-stayed bridge in the world. Tuanbo New City is the health industrial park of Tianjin and the main venue of the ninth Universiade. The bridge greatly shortens the time and space distance between the new city of Tuanbo and the downtown area of Tianjin, which also plays an important role in promoting the development of Tuanbo as a northern aquatic eco-friendly tourist city integrating sports activities, education and scientific research.
Tianjin Tuanbo New Bridge Project
Started in May 2008 and completed in August 2011, the project won the Guoyou Luban Award, the Tianjin Excellent Project Management Achievement Award and the Tianjin Haihe Cup Award.
