On January 23, the Ziyun Bridge in Fengcheng, Jiangxi Province, constructed by China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group Co., Ltd, was officially opened to traffic, marking a new chapter in the integration of industry and urban development on both sides of the river.
The main bridge of Ziyun Bridge spans 4.92 kilometers. It is located approximately 4 kilometers upstream from the Ganjiang Bridge and 3.3 kilometers downstream from Jianyi Bridge. Designed as a first-class highway and urban arterial road, it features six lanes in both directions, with a designed speed of 60 km/h and a standard bridge width of 28.5 meters. The main bridge over the Ganjiang River adopts a 460-meter-long self-anchored suspension bridge structure with a 180-meter main span, dual towers, and dual cable planes. Construction of the bridge officially began in March 2022.
